What we record about visits

You can read this guide without an account. The contact note tool works on your device and does not submit its contents to the website.

Who is responsible

Jumbipuremelody Ltd is the controller for personal information handled through this website and direct editorial correspondence. Our registered office is 16 Park Place, Leeds LS1 2SJ, United Kingdom. Company registration number: 15168294. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or rights requests.

Website requests and service security

Delivering a page requires a server to process connection information such as your IP address, requested resource, request time and browser-supplied headers. Hosting systems may retain access and error logs for security, fault diagnosis and reliable delivery. We use this information on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site, subject to your rights.

The site code does not install analytics, advertising pixels, external fonts or third-party embedded media. Images and scripts are requested from this website. Following an external reference link takes you to another organisation’s service and privacy arrangements.

The local note tool

Text entered into the contact tool is processed in the current page. It is not transmitted by the tool and is not saved by the site in local storage. Your browser may retain form state according to its own settings. Copying uses your device’s clipboard; downloading creates a plain-text file on your device. You control those copies and should delete them when no longer needed.

Email you choose to send

If you email us separately, we receive your address, message and any information you include. We use it to consider and respond to your enquiry, correct content where appropriate and maintain necessary correspondence records. Our basis is our legitimate interest in handling editorial correspondence; where an enquiry concerns a potential contract, steps requested before entering that contract may also apply.

Do not send sensitive personal information, customer records or confidential network details. We do not use editorial enquiries to add you to a marketing list. Relevant hosting and email providers may process information for us under appropriate service arrangements. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information.

Local preferences

The storage preference control can save a small preference in your browser’s local storage when you request it. It does not enable tracking. You can remove it through that page or your browser settings. Read the cookie and storage page for the exact key and behaviour.

Retention and transfers

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, taking account of security needs, unresolved enquiries and legal obligations. Completed editorial correspondence is reviewed for deletion when it is no longer needed. A correction record may retain the substance of an issue without identifying the person who raised it.

If a service provider processes personal information outside the United Kingdom, applicable UK data-protection transfer requirements must be met, including adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards where required. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to access, rectify, erase or restrict processing of your information, object to processing based on legitimate interests and receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing.

Email us to exercise a right. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contacting us first is welcome but is not a condition of making a complaint.

Children and changes

This general information site is not designed to collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact us so we can consider appropriate deletion. We will update this page if our processing changes and revise its effective date where appropriate.
